Former Vice President and ADC presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, has declared that President Bola Tinubu will be defeated in the 2027 general election, insisting that any united opposition coalition candidate will overpower the ruling party.

Atiku made the remark on ARISE NEWS while speaking on the strength of the emerging opposition alliance, arguing that the coalition has enough political weight across Nigeria’s regions to secure electoral victory against Tinubu.

“For all I know, a coalition candidate is facing Bola Tinubu. Bola Tinubu is dead on arrival,” Atiku said.

He stressed that his statement was not mere political rhetoric but a reflection of the coalition’s strategic advantage, noting that each major leader in the alliance commands influence in their respective zones.

“It’s not a slogan. It’s a fact. Look at the leadership of the coalition, each and every one of them will bring their zone to secure electoral victory,” he added.

Atiku also said that the Tinubu administration is the worst government he has witnessed in his lifetime.

“Everything is wrong with President Tinubu’s government; in my life, this is the worst administration I have seen,” he said, expressing deep disappointment with the current state of governance.

He faulted the government over insecurity, arguing that no meaningful economic or social policy can succeed without first guaranteeing safety and order.

“Security, law, and order are basic. Whatever you want to achieve, if you don’t have security, law and order, you cannot implement other policies,” Atiku said.
