President Bola Tinubu has condoled with elder statesman and former Minister of Defence, Iya Abubakar, over the passing of his wife, Ummu Abubakar.
Mrs Abubakar who passed away in Abuja was 78.

According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, the President stated that the deceased, who was also the mother-in-law of the National Security Adviser (NSA), Nuhu Ribadu, will be remembered for her devotion to God and dedication to family values.
President Tinubu prayed for God’s mercy on the departed and urges her family to maintain the good name she left behind.
