President Bola Tinubu, in celebration of his administration’s first anniversary, commissioned the Wuye Flyover-Link Bridge in Abuja’s Federal Capital Territory (FCT). This infrastructure project, a testament to the government’s commitment to the people, is expected to significantly improve traffic flow in the district and surrounding areas.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, President Tinubu highlighted the importance of the project and thanked the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, and his team for their tireless efforts in ensuring its completion. He commended the resilience and unwavering support of the Wuse and Wuye communities, stating that their commitment had been instrumental in making the project a reality.
“We will build a nation where no one is excluded,” President Tinubu declared, emphasizing his administration’s focus on inclusive development. He stressed the importance of providing essential services such as water supply, electricity, and road network infrastructure to lay the groundwork for economic growth and prosperity.
The President also urged the people to focus on looking forward and aspiring for great results rather than dwelling on obstacles. He highlighted the government’s commitment to empowering the people and ensuring that everyone benefits from development.
“We are investing in essential services such as water supply, electricity, and road network that lay the groundwork for economic growth and prosperity, to share progress and improvement in the quality of life for all residents of Abuja Capital Territory,” President Tinubu stated.
The President extended his heartfelt gratitude to the FCT Minister and the entire team involved in the project, declaring the Wuye Flyover-Link Bridge inaugurated. He commended their dedication and emphasized that the progress and prosperity of Nigeria are in the hands of its people.
“It is my great honour and singular privilege to declare this project inaugurated,” President Tinubu said. “Once again, I commend the entire team of FCT. Whatever anybody may say, it should be that Nigeria definitely make progress and the prosperity, the hope, the achievement is in our hands.”
