President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima and several other leading Nigerians on their conferment as Fellows of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), recognising their significant contributions to Nigeria’s economic policy and development.

According to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu speaking ahead of the official conferment ceremony on Monday, September 8, highlighted the awardees’ dedication to advancing the nation’s socio-economic transformation through research, policy, and strategic leadership.

President Tinubu praised Shettima for his visionary approach and steadfast commitment to the administration’s Renewed Hope Agenda, particularly in promoting inclusive growth, job creation, and sustainable development.
