Tinubu appoints Smart City’s Adeboye SSA on Grassroots Sports Development

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has announced the appointment of Adeyinka Adeboye, the CEO of Smart City FC, as the new Senior Special Assistant to the President on Grassroots Sports Development.

Adeboye previously held a similar position under the former Minister of Sports, Senator John Enoch.

He expressed his commitment to leveraging his extensive experience in the sports sector to assist the President in achieving the renewed hope agenda for sports in Nigeria.

“With over three decades of experience in the sports sector, I am eager to apply my knowledge and experience in this new role,” he stated.

“I am dedicated to making a positive impact and contributing to the development of sports in our country. I look forward to working closely with Shehu Dikko, the Chairman of the National Sports Commission, and Bukola Olopade, the Director General.”

Adeboye also took a moment to express his sincere gratitude to President Tinubu for the opportunity to serve in this capacity.

“Once again, I would like to use this opportunity to express my heartfelt gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu for the remarkable opportunity to serve.”

According to the letter made available, Adeboye’s appointment takes immediate effect.
