Tinubu appoints Danjuma Ismaila as Rector of Nigerian College of Aviation Technology

President Bola Tinubu has appointed Danjuma Ismaila as the Rector and Chief Executive of the Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) in Zaria, according to a statement issued by Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Ismaila, an expert in air transportation management, transport economic policy, and aviation security, brings a wealth of knowledge to the role. He obtained a degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, in 1989, along with a Postgraduate Diploma in Transportation. He has also participated in numerous courses, workshops, and seminars focused on civil aviation management and transportation.

A member of both the Royal Aeronautical Society (UK) and the Air Transport Research Society, Ismaila was a lecturer at the Federal University of Transportation, Daura, before his new appointment.
