The prestigious Tiger Golf Club, Fajuyi Cantonment, Ojoo Ibadan will on May 5 to 6 play host to maiden Amateur/Professional Invitational Golf Classic Tournament 2023, according to the organisers.
The unique golf event, which is a brainchild of BON Sports Promotions And Events Limited, will be held for the first time in Ibadan at the Tiger Golf course adjudged as one of the best in the country presently with its beautiful lush green terraces even during the dry season.
Participants are expected to attend the event from all notable golf clubs in Nigeria and beyond according to the CEO of BON Sports Promotions And Events Limited, Mrs. Bose Onwuegbu, who also doubles as the Lady Captain of Dolphin Golf Club, Lagos. The Theme of the event according to the sponsor is; “Empowering the less privileged”, hence proceeds from the event will be used to support the less privileged in the society. Arrival of the golfers is Friday May 5 while other activities including professional tournament, cocktail and old school night would hold same day.
The following day will be for the tournament proper, followed by prize presentations during the closing ceremony.
