The Third Phase Ex-agitators Forum has described the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme (PAP), Dr. Dennis Otuaro, as a prepared leader who knows his onions.
The forum national chairman, General” Preye Ekpebide in a statement noted that Otuaro has started on a very strong, promising note, urging him to continue at this impressive pace.
Ekpebide who insisted that the third phase ex-agitators are happy with Otuaro’s performance so far in office, expressed belief that the PAP helmsman will live up to his responsibility.
He stated that Otuaro’s strategic meetings with stakeholders and heads of relevant institutions show that he is ready to take PAP to the next level.
“We commend the strong manner High Chief Otuaro has started his reign and believe that he can drive the Amnesty Programme to fulfill its mandate.
“We do not doubt that he will come extremely good for us as ex-agitators given his strategic periodic meetings with stakeholders and heads of relevant institutions,” Ekpebide noted.
The Niger Delta ex-freedom fighter further thanked Otuaro for prioritising education, particularly his decision to continue with the scholarship scheme of the PAP.
He also lauded the PAP Administrator for the appointment of competent and relatively young persons into positions of trust since assuming office.
According to him by all indications, the appointees have what it takes to help him to succeed on his mandate.
“We are solidly behind High Chief Otuaro, because we are convinced of his determination to work for the interest of all delegates and stakeholders.
“We therefore plead with all ex-agitators in various phases to support the Amnesty Boss for the good of the Programme and by extension the Niger Delta region,” he added.
