Skinetics, one of Nigeria’s fastest-growing aesthetic and skincare brands, is poised to launch its new centre in Abuja on November 29, marking a major expansion as it deepens its footprint across the country.
Founded in 1994 in Los Angeles, California, where Chief Executive Officer and Founder, Dr. Bruce Nwachie lived and practised for nearly 27 years before relocating to Nigeria.
Renowned for his commitment to cosmetic medicine, Bruce Nwachie has positioned Skinetics as both a treatment centre and a school for professionals.
Accordion to Nwachie, the Lagos flagship, staffed by certified doctors and nurses, offers dermatological care, cosmetic procedures, and trains aestheticians and medical pros in beauty-wellness integration.
He said: “We have come to realize that in the beauty industry in Nigeria there are so many fake people out there. They go to You Tube to learn, we call them YouTube university students, they go to TikTok etc. So, we decided to open a school because in skin care there’s zero margin to error.”
Ahead of the Abuja launch, Chief Operating Officer Chuka Imo, an aesthetic physician, said: “We’re passionate about anti-aging, helping people prioritise skin care. We do not just do procedures, we build relationships with clients to the end that we create a peaceful, holistic lifestyle changes that come through the way they look as we already know we are addressed the way we look. The way you look is the way you feel. There is high standards here; Abuja clients expect nothing less.”
Dr. Michael Awa, Chief Medical Officer/Aesthetic physician, highlighted the team’s strength, saying: “Teamwork drives results. We recently went for an upgrade course in Europe and we did a lot of trainings. That is what we are bringing back to Nigeria to offer our clients in Lagos and Abuja. We offer-world class trainings and treatments here.”
