Nollywood actor, Browny Igboegwu has said that the Nigerian movie industry is full of “fake love”.
Igboegwu said this in an Instagram post on Monday night.
The Anambra-born actor compared the level of duplicity in the industry to “broad daylight witchcraft”.
He said, “Make we take it easy with fake love in this our Nollywood abeg. One minute you are saying despicable things about your colleague and the next minute you are posting and celebrating the same person.
“This is broad daylight witchcraft. Please try and be genuine with your intentions towards people.
“Say no to fake love; it’s worse than poison. If you can’t say something good about someone, please shut up.”
In May, Igboegwu penned an emotional note after meeting his daughter in Canada for the first time.
The actor and his wife welcomed their first child four years ago after ten years of childlessness.
