An APC women leader and National Director of Planning of Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria, Hajia Aishat Oyiza Omade, says there is no crisis within the group or the ruling party in Kogi State.

In a statement in Lokoja, she said replacing Senator Abubakar Sadiku Ohere as state coordinator was a deliberate effort to promote fairness, geographical balance and wider participation, not a sign of division.

She said she raised concerns about leadership positions being concentrated in Okene Local Government Area, arguing that Adavi, Okehi, Ajaokuta and Ogori Magongo also deserve representation. She stressed that she backed Ohere’s leadership capacity.

Omade said the change followed the resignation of Hon David Zaccaharia, who is pursuing his career under the PDP, and a meeting of Kogi stakeholders in Abuja attended by figures including former Deputy Governor Edward David Onoja.

She described the emergence of Alhaji Abdullahi Bello as an opportunity to expand the group’s reach. She urged cooperation between former and new leaders, handled with maturity, mutual respect and shared commitment.
