TGI Group has launched a new seasoning product, Tastemaker by Terra Seasoning Powder, aimed at helping Nigerian households achieve consistent flavour and aroma in their everyday meals.
The company said the product, produced in chicken flavour, is designed to simplify cooking while enhancing the taste of popular Nigerian dishes. The seasoning comes with a simple usage approach summarised as “Sprinkle, Stir, Serve,” which the company says makes it easier for home cooks to prepare meals without compromising flavour.
According to the firm, the product was developed in response to the challenges many cooks face in maintaining a consistent taste in their meals, especially with variations in ingredients and the fast pace of modern life.
Chicken dishes remain central to many Nigerian meals, ranging from party jollof rice and traditional stews to quick weekday stir-fries. The company said this made chicken flavour the natural starting point for the Tastemaker by Terra product line.

The goal was never to create a shortcut that hides the cook’s skill, but to offer a dependable foundation that simplifies decision-making during the heat of the moment. The company explained that the seasoning is designed to complement traditional cooking ingredients such as onions, peppers, garlic and fresh herbs rather than replace them, allowing cooks to maintain the authenticity of their meals while improving consistency.
TGI Group said the product forms part of its broader effort to support modern cooking habits while preserving culinary traditions in Nigerian homes.
The seasoning powder is packaged in a 400g pack and is available in retail stores and supermarkets nationwide. According to the company, it is suitable for everyday home cooking as well as for special occasions and family gatherings.
With the launch, the group hopes to deepen its presence in Nigeria’s fast-growing food and seasoning market while offering consumers a convenient way to enhance the flavour of their meals.
