The All Progressives Congress (APC) Edo State Chapter and prominent politician Chief Andy Uba have extended warm congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Engineer Mike Sado, on his ascension to the revered throne as the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella.

In separate messages following the coronation on Saturday, 10 May 2025, both leaders hailed the installation as a pivotal moment for the Okpella Kingdom and Edo State at large.

Chief Jarrett Tenebe, in his congratulatory message, described the Okuokpellagbe stool as a “beacon of shared heritage” and expressed confidence that the new monarch would “rekindle the pride and glory of Okpella Kingdom.”

He urged the royal father to “let patience be your compass, wisdom your guide, and justice your watchword” as he navigates the complexities of leadership.

Tenebe said: “On behalf of the leadership, members, and entire family of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Edo State Chapter, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Mike Sado, on your well-deserved election and historic installation as the Okuokpellagbe of Okpella.”

He added: “Your emergence as Paramount Ruler of the industrious and culturally rich people of Okpella marks the dawn of a new era. It reflects not only divine grace but also the trust and expectations of your people, who look to you for guidance and visionary leadership.”

In a separate message, Chief Andy Uba described the coronation as “a momentous occasion for the kingdom, marking a proud celebration of tradition, continuity, and a bright future under Your Majesty’s wise leadership.”

Uba stated: “It is with great joy and deep respect that I congratulate you on your ascension to the revered throne. Your installation on 10 May 2025 was not only historic but also a testament to Okpella’s enduring heritage.”

He expressed confidence that the monarch’s reign would be “marked by fairness, compassion, and visionary leadership,” adding:
“The throne you now occupy symbolises both tradition and transformation, and I am confident you will balance these responsibilities with grace.”

Both leaders prayed for the monarch’s long, peaceful, and prosperous reign, wishing him strength, good health, and divine guidance. They also expressed optimism that his leadership would bring harmony, development, and pride to Okpella.
