The Director General of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN), Dr. Mustapha Abdullahi, has assured Nigerians that the Renewed Hope Initiative of President Bola Tinubu was committed to ensuring that Nigerians enjoy improved power supply across the country.
He made the observation in his congratulatory message to Nigerians, particularly the Muslim faithful on the celebration of the Eid-el-kabir.
Abdullahi stated that the solarisation drive of the Federal Government would ensure that all Nigerians enjoy alternative sources of energy, noting that no nation could develop effectively without adequate supply of energy to promote growth and sustainable development. He enjoined all critical stakeholders to support the solarisation programme.

He said the Tinubu administration was committed to restoring the country to the path of progress. He urged all Nigerians to join hands with the government as it continues to reposition the affairs of the nation and its citizens with people-oriented reforms and initiatives.
Abdullahi called on the Muslim faithful to continue to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice and faith as exemplified by Prophet Ibrahim and to use the period of celebration to pray for the peace and prosperity of the nation.
