The Osun Masterminds (TOM), has declared support for the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to reject the planned increase in telecommunications tariff.
The Executive Director of TOM, Wasiu Oyedokun-Alli, who spoke at its monthly state of the state address on Friday, promised to join the NLC in whatever step taken to reject the tariff hike.

The group said it is regrettable that at a time when Nigerians are grappling with hardship in many areas of lives, the Nigeria Communications Commission (NCC) has given approval to Telcos to hike tariff on telecoms services.
“We join our voice with the NLC and call for an immediate halt to these plans, and we will join hands with the Labour Congress to picket Telco offices nationwide if the planned hike stands,” he added.
The group commended Governor Ademola Adeleke for the planned recruitment into Amotekun Corps and Imole Youth Corps, warning that politicians should not be allowed to take over the recruitment.
