The people of Amaimo in Ikeduru Local Government Area of Imo State are still in shock after a teenager from the area was allegedly shot dead by a Reverend Father, whose name could not be ascertained at the time of this report, for allegedly throwing a firework inside the church during service on Wednesday.
The priest, The priest who is said to be the Parish Priest of St. Columbus Catholic Church, got enraged by the lad’s action and allegedly shot him with his gun.

The State Police spokesman, Henry Okoye, has confirmed the incident but promised to give a detailed account of it later. However, he said preliminary investigation has started to unravel the cause of the tragedy.
