Technology key to Nigeria’s development -Retired Air vice Marshal Atawodi

Retired Air vice Marshal Saliu Atawodi has stated technology despite being the key to economic development is useless without idea compliance .

He made this disclosure when a group, the Emerging Abuja Program conferred an honour on him as their patron, in Abuja, based on his contribution to national development.

The Rtd Air Marshal insisted that Nigeria’s development irrespective of sector strongly depends on technology,”Technology is useless without ideas compliance. Most of the things we do in life is based on technology.”

Speaking on the project, rebranding Abuja,he said it is a welcome development but urged most involved to be steadfast as the project will require time to materialise.

Earlier in his presentation,Kalu Kenneth, programme coordinator for Emerging Abuja,stated that
the minister of federal Capital Territory FCT have given them the permission to rebrand the city.

He said ” part of the rebranding Abuja is GROOVY DECEMBER, which is a premier festival showcasing over 35+ events which its maiden edition expected to debut this year.

The Moshood Abiola Stadium will host over 70% of the festival consisting of different events such as jazz festival, afrobeats concerts with top artistes, cultural displays, water event like kayaking, special food & cooking events, car racing events, fashions, football, Chess, Snooker competitions; Fairs-emerging Abuja Market place and several competitions where states and individuals will contest and win cash prizes and trophy accordingly etc.

To establish Abuja Groovy December (AGD) as Nigeria’s premier, must-attend year-end festival, offering an unparalleled blend of sophistication, diverse entertainment, cultural immersion, and unique Abuja experiences, surpassing other events and all other regional events in scale, appeal, and overall impact.”
