Fintava, Nigerian fintech company, has partnered with BiziPay, a prominent agent network, to empower over 100,000 previously unbanked residents of Jigawa State with access to essential financial services.

Through the strategic partnership, Fintava leverages BiziPay’s extensive network to open bank accounts for residents, providing them with the ability to participate in the state’s cashless palliative programme. By offering customised PoS and ATM cards, Fintava is facilitating seamless transactions at government-approved palliative shops.

The initiative, which aligns with the Jigawa State government’s vision of a cashless economy, is supported by the recent commissioning of palliative shops by Vice President Kashim Shettima.
