It was a harvest of gold medals in the Gymnastic events for Team Edo at the ongoing 22nd National Sports Festival.
Edo State female Gymnasts made up of Victory Akhigbe, Imagine Esohe, Success Etiosa and Ramsey Praise stormed to gold in Artistic Gymnastics and another individual gold in Vault by Victory Akhigbe. Another two silvers medals as well as the Best All Around performance by the same star girl, Victory Akhigbe.
The team also won bronze medal to round up a most successful outing at the 22nd National Sports Festival Gymnastics competition.
In the first day of the Gymnastic events, Team Edo won 7 gold, 4 silver and 3 bronze deals while on the second day, it was 3 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze for the Edo team.
The total medals won by Team Edo so far is 10 gold, 6 silver and 1 bronze.
Etim Eno-Obong won 4 gold while his female counterpart, Victory Akhigbe won 3 gold and also won the male and female Best All Round Gymnasts for the 22nd National Sports Festival.
