The Train The Trainers Summit (TTTS) eam, powered by The Duke’s Infant & Child Foundation (TDICF), today joined their Trustee, Mrs. Uche Elue Monu, her family and a host of dignitaries in Obior, Delta State, to bid a final farewell to a patriarch, Chief Benjamin Elue.

The Founder of TDICF and Convener of the TTT, Augusta Anyanwu-Egbom, alongside the Global Coordinator of TTTS, Rotimi Eyitayo, were present to solidarise with Mrs. Monu, who is also the chairperson of the TTTS Organising Committee, during the solemn moment of honour and remembrance.

A statement by the group, said Chief Elue, a former Deputy Governor of Delta State, lived a life defined by service, wisdom, humility, and an unwavering commitment to community and nation-building. His legacy continues to speak through the values he upheld and the countless lives he impacted.

“For us as an organisation, this moment is deeply personal. Even in grief, we are reminded of the enduring legacy of leadership, integrity and service he passed on; values that Mrs Monu continues to embody through her tireless commitment to raising a new generation of leaders through the summit

“As TTTS prepares to scale across the rest of the country, including Lagos and Abuja, in the next season, we move forward not just with a vision, but with a renewed sense of purpose inspired by a life that stood for strong institutions, responsible leadership and empowered communities.

“Today, we honour a life well lived. We celebrate a legacy that will never fade. And we recommit to raising leaders who will carry the torch forward. May his soul rest in peace,” the statement read.
