TD Africa has announced a major partnership with Schneider Electric for the development of next-generation, AI-powered data centres across Nigeria. The agreement was formalised during the Schneider Electric Innovation Day Nigeria 2025, which also marked the company’s 25 years of operations in the country.
The event drew more than 450 participants, including technology partners, engineers, architects, energy experts and senior government officials. Discussions centred on this year’s theme, “Unlocking Nigeria’s Energy Future: Policy, Innovation, and Investment,” with a focus on advancing the country’s energy transition and digital infrastructure.
The memorandum of understanding between the companies aims to strengthen the country’s digital agenda through the rollout of data centres designed for both Core and Edge environments.
