Super Eagles head coach, Eric Sékou Chelle has openly declared his ambition to become the first African to manage Spanish giants Real Madrid, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian national team handler made the bold revelation while speaking on his long-term career goals, stressing that he harbours a strong desire to reach the very top of European club football.

“My dream is to become the first African coach to manage Real Madrid,” Chelle said.

The Malian-born tactician recently guided the Super Eagles to a third-place finish at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, a campaign that further enhanced his growing reputation on the continental stage.
