What happens when a product designer takes a deeply personal problem and transforms it into a global solution? You get Talentribe. The latest brainchild of Idris Abass, a seasoned UX and product designer with a mission to humanise recruitment through technology.

Talentribe is an AI-powered recruitment platform that intelligently matches candidates to job roles based on values, skills, and growth potential, not just keywords. “I created this out of frustration,” says Abass. “I was tired of soulless job boards and endless applications that led nowhere. I wanted people to find work where they felt seen and supported and sidestep the ‘spray and pray’ job seeking method.”

With three core modules for candidates, recruiters, and internal HR teams, Talentribe offers tailored training suggestions, internal mobility tools, and smarter job matching. What sets the platform apart is its holistic approach to careers, aiming to reduce friction, bias, and fatigue in the hiring journey.

Talentribe is targeting the US, UK, and UAE markets with an ambitious go-to-market strategy including LinkedIn campaigns, recruiter partnerships, and TikTok-powered user success stories. While the platform is free for candidates, monetization will come from tiered subscriptions for hiring organisations offering scalable access without alienating jobseekers.

Currently in pre-launch, Talentribe will begin early access trials in Q4 2025, with a full rollout expected by early 2026. Abass and his team are actively refining their AI models through ongoing user feedback and partnerships. If successful, Talentribe could redefine not just how we get hired, but how we grow in chosen career pathways.
