Controversies have continued to trail the killing of Olalekan Kafayat and Olalekan Abideen, in Ede, Osun State, as families of the deceased insisted that police officers, led by CSP Adekunle Omoyele, killed them.
A younger sister of the deceased, Olalekan Rukayat, who spoke to newsmen in Osogbo, yesterday, alleged that the Minority Leader of the Osun State House of Assembly, Babajide Kofoworola, representing Ede North, led Omoyele’s team to kill her relatives.
She explained that the killing was carried out after the argument that ensued at the meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), where the legislator was asked to release the election money sent through him to the unit by the party’s governorship candidate.
