Governor Kayode Fayemi, has urged Ekiti people and Nigerians at large to support the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari in the February 16 presidential poll; so as to enjoy more community projects currently on going in all parts of the country.

The governor said the president has ensured the projects were carried out in all the communities across the country by promptly and adequately making necessary provisions for counterpart funds to support the World bank.

Fayemi, who flagged off distribution of the counterpart funds to 37 communities, in the first phase of his government’s move to complete all outstanding World bank-powered community projects during his first tenure, urged leaders and representatives of the benefitting communities to ensure adequate, prompt and judicious use of the funds so as to enjoy more of such benefits.

He also said his government will complete all uncompleted five kilometre roads in the 16 local government areas of the state, and added that his government has increased the number of benefiting communities from two, to four, for each council, on the ongoing free healthcare services across the state. Flagging off N213.6 million  community projects, at the Osuntokun Hall of the government office in Ado Ekiti, yesterday,  Fayemi said: “This is the first stage in the completion of abandoned projects; the remaining projects will receive attention. Attention is being paid to new requests that were submitted during the last Town Hall meeting.”
