Opta’s Supercomputer has released a new Premier League title prediction.
The Supercomputer named Liverpool as the new Premier League title favourites.
This follows Manchester City’s recent setback against Brighton last weekend.
Liverpool defeated Aston Villa 2-0 and now sit five points clear at the top of the English top-flight league table.
Opta’s supercomputer simulates the remainder of the season 10,000 times. As it stands, it gives the Reds a 60.3% chance of winning the Premier League.
The percentage marks a staggering increase from pre-season when Arne Slot’s men were given just a 5.1% chance of winning the league title.
Manchester City are currently the second favourites to defend the title.
Pep Guardiola’s side’s chances have dropped dramatically from 82.2% in preseason to 34.3% following game week 11.
Meanwhile, Arsenal’s chances of winning the Premier League for the first time since 2004 have also dropped.
The Gunners now have just a 5% chance of winning the league.
