Ten-time African champions, the Super Falcons of Nigeria, have arrived in Rabat ahead of the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), where they will play all their Group C matches in Morocco’s capital, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian delegation made a colourful arrival, with players dressed in elegant green-and-white flowing traditional outfits complemented by matching head ties, reflecting the country’s rich cultural heritage.

All 25 invited players travelled to Rabat from Casablanca, where the team concluded a 10-day training camp as part of preparations for the continental tournament.

The Falcons rounded off their build-up with a 2-1 victory over Tanzania in an international friendly, providing a timely confidence boost ahead of the competition, which gets underway on Sunday.

Nigeria, seeking a record-extending 11th WAFCON title, will open their Group C campaign against tournament debutants Malawi on Tuesday, July 28, in Rabat.

The Super Falcons will then face Zambia on August 1 before concluding their group-stage fixtures against Egypt on August 5.
