…Congratulates team for picking AFCON final ticket

National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has declared that Super Eagles performance at the ongoing Africa Nations Cup (AFCON) tournament in Cote d’Ivoire is a justification of President Bola Tinubu’s renewed hope agenda.
The ruling party’s boss specifically poured encomium on the team over their victory against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa in the semi-final duel on wednesday.
Ganduje, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, acknowledged the resilience of the Super Eagles in the tension-soaked encounter.
Attributing the exploit of the senior national team as justification for the renewed hope agenda he commended President Tinubu for giving the team the necessary support to triumph in the tournament.
He particularly urged the team to do everything at their disposal to lift and bring the coveted troph back to the country.
“I congratulate the Super Eagles over their victory against Bafana Bafana of South Africa. I want to particularly commend them for the strength in character they displayed and in the previous matches, that is an indication of the true spirit of Nigerians.
“The Eagle’s victory has justified the renewed hope agenda of the President Bola Tinubu administration.
“I urged them to go ahead and bring back home the coveted trophy. The country is proud of their doggedness. Up Super Eagles!
Up Nigeria!” Ganduje noted in the statement.
