The Super Eagles will take on Poland national football team and Portugal national football team in high-profile international friendlies scheduled for June 2026, the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has confirmed.

The fixtures come on the back of Nigeria’s recent outing in Antalya, Turkey, where they secured a win over Iran and played out a draw with Jordan.

The upcoming matches are expected to provide a tougher European test during the next FIFA international window.

According to NFF’s FIFA Match Agent, Jairo Pachon, the Super Eagles will face Poland on June 3 at the PGE Narodowy Stadium in Warsaw.

Four days later, Nigeria will travel to Portugal for a clash against the Seleção das Quinas on June 10, with the venue yet to be confirmed. The match will serve as Portugal’s final preparation before heading to the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

The friendlies are expected to help Nigeria fine-tune their squad and build momentum ahead of upcoming competitions. The team is also set to defend its title at the Unity Cup Tournament in London later in May.
