Super Eagles grumble over unpaid bonuses

Super Eagles

Super Eagles are far from happy that, despite several promises, they have yet to be paid the bonus for qualifying for the knockout rounds of the 2025 AFCON in Morocco.

“I can tell you that the Super Eagles are only putting up a professional face because they are not happy that they are yet to be paid the bonus for reaching the Round of 16 of the continental tournament,” a source close to the team informed SCORENigeria

“They said they are fed up with promises by the officials that the bonus will soon be paid.”

“They are talking among themselves and we only hope it does not degenerate to another pay row as we all saw last month in Rabat at the World Cup Playoffs,” the source further said.

The NFF have agreed to pay each player $30,000 for reaching the Round of 16, where they will face Mozambique tonight in Fes.
