Subsidy: TUC joins ongoing FG/NLC meeting

The Trade Union Congress of Nigeria (TUC) has joined the ongoing negotiation meeting between federal government representative’s and the leadership of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Before the TUC representatives, led by its President, Festus Osifo, arrived, the meeting was briefly adjourned to hold consultations with the National Executive Council (NEC) of the NLC.

The negotiations is aimed at addressing the pressing issues, including the fuel subsidy removal, the consequent increase in the pump price of petrol known as premium motor spirit (PMS), and the challenging situations faced by the masses.
