A student was killed, even as a large number of others escaped death, as a yet-to-be-identified explosion was reported at an Islamiyyah school located at Kuchibiyu community in Bwari, Abuja.
The incident reportedly happened on Monday afternoon when academic activities were going on in the school.
Though the authorities are yet to confirm the incident, there are indications that the Police and emergency response teams have taken control of the situation.

But there’s a report that the deceased student was reportedly carrying a substance suspected to be an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) when it detonated.
