Stratos redeems inaugural commercial paper, boosts investor confidence

Stratos Trading Limited has redeemed its Series 1 Commercial Paper (CP) issuance under the Company’s N20 billion commercial paper programme, reaffirming its reputation as a disciplined and creditworthy issuer, while demonstrating the strength of its business fundamentals, financial discipline and commitment to responsible capital stewardship.

The Series 1 issuance, which represented the company’s debut public capital markets transaction, was issued in two tranches of 180 and 270 days with a total issue size of N5 billion. The offer attracted strong investor participation and closed at 115 percent subscription, a significant achievement for a first-time issuer accessing the Nigerian debt capital market.

The redemption marks an important milestone in the company’s growth journey and underscores its ability to meet its financial obligations, while maintaining strong operational performance.
