Stephanie Nwosa has become a key figure in Nigeria’s digital technology community, and that was recently recognized when she won the Innovation in Tech Project Implementation Award at Titans of Tech Award 2023. The win at the Titans of Tech Awards highlights just how much of an impact she’s having on the ecosystem right now.
People often call the Titans of Tech Awards the “Grammys” of the Nigerian tech world, and for good reason. It has been around for over 19 years, making it one of the most respected honors in the industry across Africa. The awards are all about highlighting the founders and innovators who are actually changing the game, and this year, Stephanie Nwosa was recognized as part of that top tier group.
The event was held at the luxurious Lagos Oriental Hotel on the 21st July 2023, the place was packed with leaders of industries, CEO’s of multinationals, tech founders, tech enthusiast, renowned cooperation, tech practitioners and innovators who are building the future of tech in Africa. It was one of those nights where the focus wasn’t just on the awards, but on the sheer amount of work everyone puts in to keep this whole ecosystem moving. When Stephanie’s name was called for the Innovation in Tech Project Implementation Award, it just made sense. It was a clear acknowledgement of how good she is at bringing new ideas into the digital technology landscape in Nigeria and actually delivering on complicated projects.
Her recognition reflects not only technical excellence but also her strategic impact in strengthening project workflow, driving efficiency and translating complex ideas into real world digital solutions. Stephanie has constantly demonstrated an ability to bridge vision and execution, taking innovation concepts from planning stages to full scale implemented projects.
In her thank you speech, Stephanie expressed just how grateful she was to the tech community. “I’m honestly so grateful to be here,” she said. “The Titans of Tech Awards really shine a light on the people who are actually on the ground, building the African tech industry. For me, this award is a huge confidence boost. It’s proof that my work as a project manager is actually making an impact. I really owe it all to my family and my team, they’ve been in my corner since day one and I couldn’t have done this without them.”
This achievement confirms what many in the industry already knew: that she’s at the forefront of the field right now. Her career path serves as a great example for the next wave of professionals who want to walk this path. She’s showing that you can be both innovative and highly disciplined in a space that needs both.
