All 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) have officially submitted their representative teams for the men’s and women’s competitions of the 2026 President Federation Cup, setting the stage for another nationwide football spectacle.

In the women’s category, traditional powerhouses such as Rivers Angels, Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, and Edo Queens headline a competitive field that also includes emerging sides from across the country.

Lagos will be represented by FC Robo Queens and Ghetto Tiger Ladies, while the FCT features Naija Ratels alongside NAF FC. Other notable entrants include Nasarawa Amazons, Remo Stars Ladies, and Sunshine Queens.

In the men’s competition, Nigeria’s top-flight and lower-division clubs are well represented, with former champions Enyimba FC, Rangers International, Bendel Insurance, and Akwa United leading the pack.

Other prominent sides include Kwara United, Niger Tornadoes, Plateau United, Rivers United, and Katsina United, all expected to contend strongly for honours.

The competition will also provide a platform for grassroots and academy teams such as Beyond Limits Academy, Sporting Supreme U19, and various feeder sides to test their strength against established clubs.

With entries now confirmed, attention will shift to the draws and fixtures, as teams begin their quest for national glory in one of Nigeria’s oldest and most prestigious domestic football competitions.
