The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, who represented President Asuwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the closing ceremony of the National Youth Games, Asaba said the ten days were period of veritable ground for harvesting a large pool of talented athletes that have been blessed, and they displayed their talents during bye annual event.
The minister said many athletes have been discovered during the games and urged them to go ahead and create a career path for themselves in sports because that is the vision of the games.
He said the main impact of the games have been far-reaching new friends have been made across the aisle economic activities within and outside the capital city of Delta and the country at large by selling sports equipment and other related commodities.
The minister also said the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is poised to properly leverage the socioeconomic benefit of sports in the country through its endeared commitment.
