Spark Union Capital Inc. has reaffirmed its commitment to education and community development by providing essential school supplies to about 220 children at Liberty School in Ilaje, Lagos, through its Back-to-School and Youth Education Charity Outreach.
The technology-driven company, headquartered outside Nigeria, partnered with local event management firm Pertojiny Managers to execute the outreach, which was designed to support children from disadvantaged backgrounds. Rather than carrying out a routine donation exercise, the initiative focused on reaching pupils with the greatest need, many of whom come from families unable to afford formal education.
Liberty School serves as a lifeline for vulnerable children, offering free education to youngsters who might otherwise remain on the streets. Beyond tuition-free learning, the school also provides meals, creating a safe and supportive environment where children can pursue their education without financial barriers.
During the outreach, the pupils received a wide range of educational materials aimed at easing the burden on their families and enhancing their learning experience. The donations included 20 dozen notebooks, 25 mathematical sets, 250 pens, five dozen sets of pencils, sharpeners and erasers, 25 water bottles, 25 school bags and 25 food flasks.
For Spark Union Capital, the donations represented more than the distribution of school supplies. The company described the gesture as an investment in the future of the children, emphasizing that education remains one of the most powerful tools for creating opportunities and transforming lives. Reflecting this vision, the outreach was anchored on the theme, “Capital Creates Value. Compassion Creates the Future.”
