Sowore dares FCT police over arrest of Nnamdi Kanu’s lawyer

Omoyele Sowore

Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has issued a threat following the arrest of Aloy Ejimakor, counsel to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu.

Daily Sun reported that Ejimakor was arrested on Monday amid the #FreeNnamdiKanu demonstration in Abuja.

In his response on X, Sowore condemned the arrest and called it an “illegal detention.”

He also threatened that he and the ‘entire crew’ would be mobilised to the FCT command if Ejimakor and others in detention are not released.

“The @FCT_PoliceNG is instructed to release Barrister @AloyEjimakor, Fineboy Kanu, and others illegally arrested, tortured, and currently being forced into detention over #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest immediately, or we will mobilise the entire crew now on the street to the FCT command and occupy their office!” Sowore said.
