The Tinubu–Ambode Support Group and other political groups have formally strengthened their alliance as part of ongoing mobilisation for President Bola Tinubu’s second term and the anticipated return of former Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, in 2027.
The partnership, which began with mutual recognition and an issued Letter of Recommendation and Cooperation in April 2025, was further consolidated this week during a strategic leadership meeting held in Baruwa-Ipaja, Lagos.
The Tinubu–Ambode Support Group, led by its National Director-General, Hon. Dr Seyi Bamgbade, welcomed the leadership of the groups led by Progressive Pathfinder Group, a dedicated group carrying on the legacy of the late Pa Abraham Adesanya, respected Yoruba leader whose followers continue to advance his vision and commitment to progressive politics in the South-West region.
The atmosphere was charged with optimism, loyalty, and a shared commitment to consolidating the Renewed Hope Agenda across all levels.
In his address, Director-General Dr Seyi Bamgbade harped on the need for unity, describing the collaboration as “a new chapter in strategic grassroots engagement”.
He reaffirmed the readiness of the Tinubu–Ambode Support Group to work closely with their partners, stressing that collective effort is the pathway to political victory.

“In politics, we gather together, not scatter. When we join hands, when we unite our structures and energies, mobilisation becomes easy, effective, and unstoppable,” he declared.
Mr Bamgbade extolled the group’s consistency, honouring the legacy of their late leader Adesanya, while applauding his followers for continuing the work he began.
One of the group leaders, Hon. Femi Olufelo, the coordinator of Progressive Pathfinder Group, responded with gratitude and loyalty, expressing deep appreciation for the warm reception and open-armed embrace from the Tinubu–Ambode Support Group.
They pledged total cooperation and unwavering loyalty to the shared mission to mobilise millions of voters for Tinubu in 2027.
“We are grateful for this partnership. We see sincerity, readiness, and a clear vision. We pledge to work together for a stronger, united political family,” they affirmed.
They further emphasised that unity at this critical moment would shape electoral outcomes, strengthen the grassroots, and reinforce the progressive political ideology championed.
