Sound education, military training – Actress Shan George lists qualities of Nigeria’s next president

Nollywood actress, Shan George has highlighted sound education and military training as qualities that Nigeria’s president should possess.

The actress stated this in a Facebook post on Wednesday, less than a year to the nation’s next general election.

George said President Bola Tinubu is a “master strategist” in politics who has not lived up to billing governance-wise.

According to her, the president promised to do “wonders” if elected but Nigerians keep waiting to be amazed three years into his administration’s tenure.

The actress said, “With all due respect, Tinubu may be a master strategist in plotting and scheming on how to achieve his Emilokan goal in life, being that he’s been behind scenes of the game of politics all his life. He has been in the forefront of many major protests against past govts/presidents, fighting for him to be put there and how he will do wonders.(wonders that we are still waiting for).

“But from the look of things currently, IMO, he only strategised on how to bulldoze himself into achieving his EMILOKAN dreams and goal, nothing beyond that.

“Now he’s drowning in international waters that do not resonate with his usual kinds of tactics in bulldozing his way to what he wants. The game here is that of brains and wits, with well educated, travelled, trained minds, not playing shallow politics with agbado and sachets of rice.”

She added, “A sound education with military training, is needed for such a position as president.”
