Davido’s babymama Sophia Momodu has spoken on her counter affidavit following the child custody lawsuit filed by the singer.
Momodu, who filed 102 paragraphs of counter affidavit through her legal team Anthony Idigbe SAN of Punuka Attorney and Dr Bimpe Ajegbomogun, stated that she “solely shouldered” the responsibility of their daughter Imade for the last two years.
According to her in the documents filed, she catered to Imade while Davido “falsely portrayed himself as a supportive and active father” on social media.
In the suit marked LD/1587PMC/2024, Momodu denied Davido’s claims of fulfilling his financial duties, adding that it was the singer who refused to see his daughter since July 2022.

Davido via his legal counsel is seeking a court order granting him joint custody of his daughter, Imade, with unrestricted access to her.
The ‘Unavailable’ crooner has also accused Sophia Momodu of making unreasonable demands, seemingly designed to harass and frustrate him.
