An Asaba base Church, Prevailing Faith Chapel International has ended its 2026 Women Convention with a charge to women to live kingdom-focused lives and uphold godly values in their homes and society.
The three-day convention, held at the church auditorium Solution Embassy in Asaba, drew women from across Delta State and beyond for prayers, teachings, and fellowship.
In her message titled “The Kingdom Woman”, drawn from Matthew 6:33, the Presiding Resident Pastor, Mrs Edith Okpan, urged women to prioritize God’s kingdom above all else.
She charged them to be kingdom-minded, kingdom-seekers, diligent workers, and kingdom influencers in their families, churches, and communities.
Pastor Okpan also emphasized the importance of submission to God and to their husbands as key to peace and order in the home.
Also speaking, Deaconess Rejoice Ebijuwa, Leader of Women of Worth in the church, said the 2026 edition of the convention was unique and impactful.
According to her, being a kingdom woman means living in accordance with the word of God.
“This means we have to follow His word so that there will be peace in our homes, peace in our environment, and our children will be raised for wealth,” she said.
Deaconess Ebijuwa further encouraged women of Solution Embassy to fear God, respect God, and live exemplary lives wherever they find themselves.
Mrs. Cyril Ese Gift, a member of Women of Worth, said the program was far better than previous editions.
“This year’s convention taught us how to take care of our homes, our husbands, our children, and even our extended family,” she said.
She noted that the Saturday seminar facilitated by Dr. Imo, a member of the church from Asaba Specialist Hospital focused on women’s health, especially for those within childbearing age, and provided practical lessons on self-care.
She added that the Sunday grand finale service where Mama spoke vividly about how we can be good and effective kingdom women was the high point.
Mrs. Gift urged women to be godly examples and virtuous women as described in Proverbs 31.
“The Bible says a virtuous woman builds her home, but the foolish one destroys it with her own hands. So I advise every woman in Solution Embassy and in the world at large to embrace godliness and virtue,” she said.
Also speaking, Mr. Success Obihia commended the women for their contributions to the home and society.
“ Women are wonderful people and they did extraordinary things in uniting homes. My prayer for them is that God should give them more power to do something bigger to better our homes”.
The convention ended with prayers for families, the church, and the nation, as well as thanksgiving for God’s blessings.
