Governor Chukwuma Soludo of Anambra State has appointed Professor Kate Omenugha as the new acting Vice-Chancellor of Chuwkwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Uli and Igbariam campuses, Anambra State.
A statement by Press Secretary to the governor, Christian Aburime, disclosed the appointment on Wednesday.
Prof Omeugha, who is a member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) and the immediate past Commissioner for Education in the State, replaces Professor Greg C. Nwakoby following the expiration of his tenure as Vice-Chancellor of COOU.
Also appointed was Professor Louis Chukwuemeka Orakwue, as the State Project Coordinator, Anambra State Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP).
