‘Another issue is women and youth empowerment. We intend to establish skill acquisition centres  across the wards or least four center that spread within the council.’

Other issues to prioritise include provision of potable water, improvement of the council’s Internally Generated Revenues (IGR) and environmental sanitation.

He emphasised prudence and accountability would be his watchword in managing fund accrued to the Council, adding that his integrity still remains uncompromised.

Shehu commended the state governor, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, for his courageous stand against ghost workers syndrome in the state.
