Socio Technologies Limited, through its flagship initiatives, SocioAfrica and SocioAsia, has continued its nationwide “Nigerian Flag on Every Digital Device” campaign, urging citizens at home and in the diaspora to display the national flag on their digital devices as a symbol of patriotism, unity and civic responsibility.
The campaign encourages Nigerians to use the Nigerian National Flag as the wallpaper on mobile phones, tablets, laptops, desktop computers, smart televisions and other digital devices.
According to the company, the initiative is designed to promote national pride, strengthen social cohesion and remind citizens that the responsibility for Nigeria’s growth and development rests on everyone.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Socio Technologies Limited, Oluwaseun Medayedupin, said the campaign was inspired by the need to encourage Nigerians to demonstrate patriotism through everyday actions and constructive contributions to national development.
“Every Nigerian has a role to play in building the future we desire. Displaying the Nigerian Flag on our digital devices is a simple but meaningful way of expressing pride in our country and reminding ourselves daily that we all share the responsibility of contributing to Nigeria’s progress,” Medayedupin said.
He added that patriotism should be reflected not only in national symbols but also in how citizens relate with one another, promote peace and contribute positively to their communities.
“Patriotism is demonstrated through our everyday actions, our respect for one another and our commitment to national development,” he said.

Socio Technologies noted that technology has become an integral part of daily life, with millions of Nigerians relying on digital devices for work, education, business, communication and entertainment.
The company said making the Nigerian Flag a visible part of these daily interactions could reinforce national identity and encourage positive conversations about the country’s future.
It added that small and voluntary expressions of patriotism could help build stronger social bonds, promote unity and boost confidence in Nigeria’s potential.
As part of the campaign, Nigerians are encouraged to set the national flag as the wallpaper on their devices and invite family members, friends, classmates and colleagues to participate.
Participants are also expected to share positive messages about Nigeria on social media, promote peace and responsible citizenship, support community development and inspire others through actions that contribute to national progress.
Through SocioAfrica and SocioAsia, the company said it would continue to support programmes that promote innovation, digital inclusion, entrepreneurship, youth empowerment and socio-economic development across Nigeria, Africa and Asia.
Socio Technologies has also called on journalists, media organisations, bloggers, digital publishers, influencers, educational institutions, youth groups, civil society organisations and community leaders to support the campaign and encourage wider participation.
