As the world move with trends; popular skit maker, social media sensation and content creator, Kuye Adegoke better known as ‘Egungun’ by his teaming fans has disclosed that at the moment the use of social media is the new crude oil all major industry players need to tap into to create and disseminate contents to global viewings.
Egungun in his opinion said ‘social media is major especially when it comes to entertainment as it pushes everything beyond borders’. With social media everyone gets to know about the happenings around the world, also for content creators it has helped as the vital tools needed to generate desired views, likes and comment which in turn can be monetized’.
Speaking further he noted that one of the major advantages of social media was during the COVID-19 pandemic where major industries were shut and no physical activities held but with the advent of social media; a lot of virtual events held, entertainers did a whole lot of music push via the several social media platforms, top companies made use of this medium in advertising their products to millions of Nigerians both home and in the diaspora.
Egungun however reiterates the need for youths to be more creatives as the effect use of the right social media platforms can change life story in terms of the monetary values it can generate.
