In commemoration of its 25th anniversary and in partnership with TECNO Nigeria, Slot Systems Limited has rewarded one of its customers with brand new Toyota car.

Ajibade Kalimot Abike, who won the car, was the only woman among the five finalists.

Abike, who erupted with joy on hearing her name as the winner of the car draw, told journalists that when she was called that she was among the finalists, she thought it was a scam. “But, since I am told to come to Slot Head Office, I told myself that there is no harm from coming to confirm if it’s true or not because actually, I remember buying this phone I am using from Slot last year. Now, I have seen that it’s real with this key I am holding. It’s not a scam and I am so excited”, she said.

She asked, “Can you imagine owing a brand new Toyota car because a phone of roughly N130,000 I bought? This is God’s grace”.

She applauded Slot and TECNO adding that, she will be encouraging people to patronize the two companies.

Commenting on the draw, Nnamdi Ezeigbo, the Chief Executive Officer, Slot explained that the car draw was to commemorate the company’s 25th anniversary. “We are happy that we have been able to achieve this milestone. It is something very wonderful for us at Slot. So, we are happy and thankful for the opportunity to celebrate 25 years doing business in Nigeria. This is a way of appreciating our customers for their patronage and loyalty.”

He emphasized Slot’s commitment to transparency and integrity in their selection process, stating that the company involved all the needed national authorities for the draw because it believes in doing things ethically.

“We had to do this in a very transparent manner. Slot is known for its transparency, integrity and reputation. And so, this is promise kept and promise delivered. We followed all due process and today, we were able to pick Abike as the final winner”, he said.

Continuing, he mentioned that Slot has evolved over the years and now represents many phone brands adding that their goal is to become the most customer-centric retail company in Africa.

Earlier, during the opening of the new head office in Lagos, Ezeigbo said, “The past 25 years helped me to build my entrepreneurial mindset, understanding the job and our customers. “One of the the things we are going to be doing is to improve our customer service, introduce new lines of products, become more innovative, and focus more on our customers.”

The CEO also said the company has plans to take its business to more locations in order to reach out to more people adding that the company is going to invest invest more in technology.
