…Opens new headquarters in Lagos

Having done business the past 25 years in the country, SLOT Systems Limited has said it is well positioned to serve customers better.
The company, which opened its new corporate headquarters, a six-storey building on Awolowo Road, Ikeja, Lagos, at the weekend, said the past 25 years have really helped it understand the nature of Nigeria’s business environment and it is now positioned to serve customers better.
According to the Chief Executive Officer, SLOT, Nnamdi Ezeigbo, “The past 25 years helped me to build my entrepreneurial mindset, understanding the job and our customers. “One of the the things we are going to be doing is to improve our customer service, introduce new lines of products, become more innovative, and focus more on our customers.”
The CEO also said the company has plans to take its business to more locations in order to reach out to more people adding that the company is going to invest invest more in technology.
Speaking on the new headquarters, Mr. Ezeigbo explained the new office would give them the opportunity to have everyone in one building and with that, you can easily interact, train and strategize to serve their Nigerian customers better. He said, “I feel excited. I feel accomplished and so grateful to the Nigerian people for the patronage and the loyalty. Most importantly, I am grateful to staff members for the commitment and dedication over the years.”
He noted that doing business in Nigeria has been with challenges and ups and downs but SLOT has never relent. “The most important thing for us is understanding the business terrain and find way to navigate it. We have been consistence and persistence and this have given us opportunity to work around some of the challenges in order to survive. It has not been easy these 25 years but we also have our success stories”, he said.
He urged the government to focus more on entrepreneurship to grow the economy. “ Entrepreneurship is about creating wealth. It is about solving problems, creating jobs and adding value. So, government should focus more on it to make positive impact in the economy”.
On her own part, the Executive Director (ED), SLOT, Mrs. Nkechi Ezeigbo while speaking on the journey of the company the past 25 years, described it as a journey of resilience, persistent and commitment.
She said, “ Doing business in Nigeria is not easy but the past 25 years has been a journey of resilience, persistence and commitment. We know what we are set out to do and we work hard to achieve it. So, it has not been all rosy but we thank God that our efforts have not been in vain. Today, we are celebrating our 25 years with the opening of this new head office and I am very excited seeing what we have been able to achieve these years.”
She disclosed the company has plans to extend to northern part of the country to reach out to more customers while also expanding its operations.
The ED averred that SLOT is positioned to serve its customers better considering the 25 years of doing business in Nigeria have given them the opportunity to understand the business terrain and needs of their customers. “We are poised to serve our customers better with our experiences over the years and we promised to stop at nothing to give our customers the fulfilment they desire”, Mrs. Ezeigbo said.
