SKG Pharma, a leading pharmaceutical research and manufacturing company in sub–Saharan Africa, has launched Novadex Night, stressing the importance of good night sleep to overall body health.
Head of Marketing, SKG Pharma, Victoria Okon, disclosed that the new product which comes in easy to swallow caplets, is a combination of Paracetamol B.P. 500mg and Diphenhydramine HCL 25mg. This makes it very effective for fast relief of pain and has a calming effect to aid good night sleep.
Okon noted that sufficient sleep boosts mood, memory and heart health. She urged consumers to trust the new Novadex Night for optimum efficacy as it enjoys a rich heritage, given that SKG Pharma is known for quality pharmaceutical products for over six decades.
The launch which was part of the annual SKG Pharma Trader Partners’ Conference was witnessed by key trade partners from across the country who converged in Lagos for a strategic session to discuss the state of the business and chart new paths to more growth and profitability.
Managing Director of SKG Pharma, Dr. Okey Akpa, said during his opening remarks that the conference has over the years, served as a platform to get actionable feedback from the trade partners which has shaped SKG Pharma’s products development and service to consumers across Africa. Dr. Akpa urged the trade partners to always patronise made in Nigeria pharmaceutical products to ensure medicines security and health sovereignty, adding that SKG Pharma products are excellently made to recognised global standards.
Dr Akpa, who is a former chairman of Pharmaceutical Group of Manufacturers’ Association of Nigeria, and the Current President of West African Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (WAPMA ) thanked the federal government for supporting local production through various policies and regulations.
Some of the trade partners who spoke at the conference commended SKG Pharma for constantly innovating to serve the trade and consumers better across the pharmaceutical value chain.

Highlights of the trade partners’ conference were a lecture on “Growth, Scaling Up and Sustainable Business” delivered by Dr. Peter Bamkole of Enterprise Development Centre, Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos and awards to high performing trade partners.
