American singer and actress Selena Gomez is set to tie the nuptial knot as she has announced that she is engaged to boyfriend Benny Blanco.
The Only Murders in the Building star took to her Instagram account to share the good news via a close look at her sparkling diamond ring adorned with a marquise-style stone.
Gomez, while teasing a glimpse of the proposal by uploading an image of herself staring at the ring at an outdoor picnic, captioned the post: “Forever begins now..”
Apparently excited and keen to give his impression, Blanco responded in the comments section by writing, “Hey wait … that’s my wife.”
The pair started dating in July 2023 after reportedly meeting long before then when Gomez was an aspiring music artist.
Gomez and Blanco had sparked engagement rumours earlier this year when she posted a selfie with her ring finger conspicuously covered with a heart emoji.
The singer was later seen wearing a gold band on the same finger, fuelling reports that she and Blanco were planning to take things to the next step.
The couple had shunned speculations at the time but told the press how serious they were taking their relationship.
